Antelope Island, the largest island in Utah’s Great Salt Lake, is a place of quiet wonder and striking contrasts. There is a particular stillness there — an openness that feels almost suspended — where vast salt marshes shimmer under the desert sun and the landscape seems to extend perception rather than simply space. This state park is home to distinctive wildlife, most notably a thriving herd of American bison, moving slowly through an environment that feels both grounded and quietly otherworldly.
When we lived in Utah, we visited a few times and were drawn to the island’s unique atmosphere — its stillness, its openness, and its quiet, almost otherworldly beauty. It is a place where time seems to soften, and awareness becomes more immediate and present. We also once took a dip in the Great Salt Lake, floating effortlessly in the dense, salty water — completely weightless, suspended in a kind of natural silence.
The landscape carries its own rhythm and presence — a delicate balance between land, lake, and sky — where silence feels full rather than empty, and where the experience of being there lingers as an emotional impression rather than a fixed memory. It is this sense of balance, openness, and quiet stillness that continues to inform and inspire my work.
Each original oil painting is carefully packaged to ensure it arrives safely at your door. I use high-quality packing materials to protect the artwork during transit.
Processing Time: Please allow 3–5 business days for your painting to be prepared for shipment.
Domestic Shipping (U.S.): Paintings are shipped via a reliable carrier (UPS, FedEx, or USPS) with tracking and insurance included.
All orders are only shipped within the United States. International shipping is not available for now.
Packaging: Each painting is securely wrapped and boxed to prevent damage.
Insurance: All original artworks are shipped fully insured for the purchase price.
Signature Required: For your protection, deliveries may require a signature.
If you have any special requests regarding shipping, please feel free to reach out before placing your order.
Because each painting is a one-of-a-kind original, all sales of original artwork are final. Returns, exchanges, or cancellations are not accepted once an order has been placed.
However, I want you to feel fully confident in your purchase. If your painting arrives damaged during transit, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery with photos of both the packaging and the artwork. I will work with you to resolve the issue, either through repair (if possible) or a refund/insurance claim.
