Black Canyon
Original Painting
$175.00
Black Canyon is a 10x10" painting on a wooden panel, inspired by our visit to Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. Standing near the edge of the canyon was an overwhelming experience — the cliffs drop so sharply that the scale of it is difficult to fully take in at once.
What stayed with me was not just the dramatic landscape, but the feeling of it — a mix of awe, tension, and quiet stillness all at once. There is a point where the view becomes almost hard to process, and you’re left simply present in front of it.
This painting reflects that moment: the depth, the silence, and the strong emotional impact of being in a place where nature feels both immense and immediate.
