“The Great Basin” is inspired by the Great Basin bristlecone pine—one of the oldest living organisms on Earth, with some trees surpassing 5,000 years. I had the rare opportunity to stand among them in a national park, where their gnarled forms and quiet presence left a lasting impression. These trees survive in extreme environments, enduring wind, cold, and nutrient-poor soil. Their slow growth produces incredibly dense wood, protecting them from decay and time itself.
Their strength and longevity are not despite their harsh conditions, but because of them. In that, I found a powerful reflection: our own challenges, though painful, can shape us into something enduring. Like the bristlecone pine, we grow stronger in adversity. Each trial becomes a part of us—another ring in the tree of our lives. This painting is a tribute to that quiet, enduring strength and the beauty found in persistence.
Each original oil painting is carefully packaged to ensure it arrives safely at your door. I use high-quality packing materials to protect the artwork during transit.
Processing Time: Please allow 3–5 business days for your painting to be prepared for shipment.
Domestic Shipping (U.S.): Paintings are shipped via a reliable carrier (UPS, FedEx, or USPS) with tracking and insurance included.
All orders are only shipped within the United States. International shipping is not available for now.
Packaging: Each painting is securely wrapped and boxed to prevent damage.
Insurance: All original artworks are shipped fully insured for the purchase price.
Signature Required: For your protection, deliveries may require a signature.
If you have any special requests regarding shipping, please feel free to reach out before placing your order.
Because each painting is a one-of-a-kind original, all sales of original artwork are final. Returns, exchanges, or cancellations are not accepted once an order has been placed.
However, I want you to feel fully confident in your purchase. If your painting arrives damaged during transit, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery with photos of both the packaging and the artwork. I will work with you to resolve the issue, either through repair (if possible) or a refund/insurance claim.
