"The Great Basin" was inspired by the ancient bristlecone pines—some of the oldest living organisms on Earth, with certain trees surpassing 5,000 years. I had the rare opportunity to stand among them in a national park, where their gnarled forms and quiet strength left a lasting impression. These remarkable trees thrive in extreme conditions—enduring wind, cold, and poor soil. Their slow growth creates wood so dense it resists decay and time itself.
Their endurance is not in spite of hardship, but because of it. In that, I found a powerful reflection of our own resilience: challenges, though painful, can shape us into something lasting and strong. Like the bristlecone pine, we grow through adversity—each trial adding another ring to the tree of our lives. This painting is a tribute to that quiet, enduring strength and the beauty of persistence.
Each original oil painting is carefully packaged to ensure it arrives safely at your door. I use high-quality packing materials to protect the artwork during transit.
Processing Time: Please allow 3–5 business days for your painting to be prepared for shipment.
Domestic Shipping (U.S.): Paintings are shipped via a reliable carrier (UPS, FedEx, or USPS) with tracking and insurance included.
All orders are only shipped within the United States. International shipping is not available for now.
Packaging: Each painting is securely wrapped and boxed to prevent damage.
Insurance: All original artworks are shipped fully insured for the purchase price.
Signature Required: For your protection, deliveries may require a signature.
If you have any special requests regarding shipping, please feel free to reach out before placing your order.
Because each painting is a one-of-a-kind original, all sales of original artwork are final. Returns, exchanges, or cancellations are not accepted once an order has been placed.
However, I want you to feel fully confident in your purchase. If your painting arrives damaged during transit, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery with photos of both the packaging and the artwork. I will work with you to resolve the issue, either through repair (if possible) or a refund/insurance claim.
